CEV Spring Volunteering Congress – Belgium

Project Summary:

United Vision participated in the CEV Spring Volunteering Congress on April 2–3, 2025, held in Mechelen, Belgium, the European Volunteering Capital 2025. The congress gathered experts, organizations, and policymakers from across Europe to explore the evolving role of volunteering in promoting social inclusion, equality, and resilience.

The event featured keynote speeches by Hadja Lahbib, EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, and Brendan Cox, founder of The Together Coalition, who emphasized the importance of community solidarity and civic engagement, especially in times of crisis.

United Vision’s participation aimed to strengthen networks, gain new insights, and share best practices to enhance our own volunteering strategies and programs that empower youth and nonprofits through digital innovation and social impact.
