European Parliament Visit – Belgium

Project Summary:
From June 2–5, 2025, United Vision had the privilege of participating in the European Parliament Visit 2025 – Visitors’ Programme in Brussels, Belgium. This impactful initiative provided young volunteers with a unique opportunity to witness democracy in action at the heart of the European Union. Over the course of four days, participants engaged in educational sessions, toured key EU institutions, and took part in interactive discussions with Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) and policy experts.

The visit allowed youth to deepen their understanding of the European Parliament’s role in shaping legislation, promoting human rights, and fostering cooperation across member states. It also offered an open space for dialogue around youth participation, civic responsibility, and the future of Europe.

By connecting directly with EU policymakers and institutions, the experience empowered young people to see themselves as active contributors to democratic life and inspired them to become more involved in shaping the societies they live in.
