The Role of Youth Centers and Youth Workers in Green Practices

Project Summary:
From June 10–16, 2025, United Vision participated in the Erasmus+ project “The Role of Youth Centers and Youth Workers in Green Practices” held in Primorsko, Bulgaria. This international initiative brought together youth workers and leaders to explore the role of youth centers in promoting environmentally conscious practices and sustainable living.

Participants engaged in a dynamic mix of eco-workshops, practical sustainability projects, and collaborative discussions on how to integrate green practices into youth work. Themes such as circular economy, waste reduction, renewable energy, and climate action were central to the program, encouraging participants to rethink their environmental impact and adopt eco-friendly approaches in their communities.

Through international networking and knowledge exchange, the project emphasized the importance of youth engagement in environmental sustainability. United Vision contributed to the dialogue by sharing local strategies and exploring new ways to incorporate green practices into its programs. The experience strengthened our commitment to climate-conscious action and empowered participants to take leadership in building a greener future.

Brief:
