Project Summary:
United Vision participated in the Refugees’ Stories – Youth Workers Mobility Program, held from May 16–22, 2025, in Mersin, Türkiye, under the Erasmus+ KA153 Youth Workers Mobility Program. This meaningful initiative brought together youth workers from across Europe to explore the power of storytelling as a tool for inclusion, empathy, and cultural understanding—particularly in the context of refugee experiences.
Throughout the program, participants engaged in interactive workshops, life-mapping activities, and storytelling sessions designed to amplify the voices of refugees and foster human connection across cultures. The use of the Human Library method allowed for deep, personal exchanges that challenged stereotypes and highlighted shared human experiences.
United Vision contributed to the intercultural dialogue and collaborated on strategies to adapt these methods for local contexts. The project strengthened our commitment to using narrative and dialogue as pathways for social impact and refugee support.
