Project Brief:

The Zero Waste Challenge Youth Exchange in Spain empowers young people to become sustainability advocates by promoting eco-friendly habits, conscious consumption, and environmental responsibility. Through practical learning, international collaboration, and non-formal education, participants develop knowledge and skills to support zero-waste initiatives and sustainable lifestyles in their communities.

Project Summary:

Held from 11th to 18th May 2026 in Spain, this Erasmus+ Youth Exchange brings together young people from different European countries to explore sustainability, zero-waste practices, and circular economy principles through hands-on learning and intercultural exchange.

Participants will engage in practical workshops on upcycling, recycling, and sustainable living strategies while also exploring topics such as conscious consumption and EU waste management policies. The programme includes interactive activities, teamwork, and a visit to a waste management plant to experience real-life sustainable practices and inspire positive environmental action within local communities.
