The world faces a dual environmental crisis: the rapidly increasing volume of physical e-waste and the invisible digital carbon footprint caused by unconscious digital habits. Digitopia: Green Code is designed as a direct response to these growing problems, aiming to transform young people from passive consumers into responsible digital citizens and environmental advocates. We achieve this goal through a 6-day (programme time) Erasmus+ Youth Exchange (KA152) that brings together young people from 6 countries. The project provides participants with practical green skills like creative reuse and data cleaning, blending technical knowledge with creativity. By co-creating a toolkit for local action and producing digital outputs, this exchange focuses on turning awareness into real, applicable action within their communities.
