Be part of GreenLink — help build greener community spaces that benefit both people and the planet.
GreenLink is a European Solidarity Corps project that brings young people together to design and maintain community gardens in the Helsinki region. Many youth experience stress, loneliness and limited opportunities for hands‑on learning. GreenLink offers a positive alternative by creating safe, welcoming spaces where young people can grow food, connect with others and develop valuable green skills.
The project includes gardening sessions, sustainability workshops, community events and digital engagement activities that encourage youth participation throughout the year. By working together, young people build confidence, improve their wellbeing and feel more connected to their neighbourhoods.
GreenLink contributes to European environmental and social priorities by promoting local sustainability, green skills and youth participation. It welcomes young people from all backgrounds, particularly those who may feel isolated, unemployed or new to Finland.
The project begins in 2025 and continues for one year. Participation is free, open and accessible. Join GreenLink to learn new skills, contribute to your community and help create greener, healthier places for everyone.
